    NeuroBalance Center

    President

KEES has been exclusively retained by NeuroBalance Center in its search for a President: https://bit.ly/NeuroBalance-Center_President

NeuroBalance Center, located in Barrington, Illinois, seeks an empathetic, inspirational, and transformational leader to engage both community members and clients to drive the organization’s vision forward. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping people fight the effects of Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, strokes, etc. The next President will take a client-first approach, ensuring those with physical challenges regain the power and pride of independence, at the forefront of NeuroBalance Center’s mission, exemplifying strong sensitivities to the clients’ lived experiences. While a strategic business approach is imperative, the President will also embody a versatile set of skills and a “roll up your

sleeves” mentality, noting that, when challenges arise, they may be required to jump into NeuroBalance Center operations. A strong communicator who can engage a wide audience comprised of multiple stakeholders will excel in this role.

    Some specific requirements include:

    • Passion for NeuroBalance Center and its mission, augmented by demonstrated experience in similar programmatic, nonprofit service areas and/or direct connection to the conditions served at NeuroBalance Center. Experience in the areas of transitional leadership or healthcare/human services programming is preferred.
    • Progressive experience in leadership and management roles in a nonprofit, human services, or voluntary healthcare mission.
    • Proven emotional intelligence and empathy to lead in a space that works with individuals and families experiencing degenerative conditions.
    • Proven ability to build strong external relationships with a variety of clients, volunteers, partner organizations, and other stakeholders
    • Experience in philanthropic strategy, fundraising, and financial stewardship; ability to identify, cultivate, steward, and solicit donors.
    • Proven success in building strong and productive work teams with a focus on mentoring and nurturing staff development.

Compensation will be determined based on experience and skills within the range of $130,000 – $150,000. Full-time employees are eligible for standard benefits including insurance, retirement, paid time off, etc.

NeuroBalance Center is an equal opportunity employer and employs without regard to race, religion, sex, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, national origin, age, veteran status, gender, sexual orientation, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.

About NeuroBalance Center: In 2010, the founder partnered with a leading Chiropractic

Neurologist to open FitMS NeuroBalance Center. The programs grew to benefit not only MS clients but people with ALS, Guillian-Barre, Parkinson’s Disease, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Sjogren’s, myocarditis, Crohn’s, Celiac, type 1 diabetes, fibromyalgia, stroke, Cerebral Palsy, and Muscular Dystrophy. After evolving into a 501(c)3 nonprofit public organization, NeuroBalance Center could then accept donations and hold fundraisers. This was key to being able to keep program fees low and quickly add two key programs: financial assistance and adaptive transportation to and from

the center for those in need. To learn more, please visit www.neurobalancecenter.org
