Director of Alumni Engagement
Reporting to the Director of Alumni Engagement, this position is responsible to support and advance our philanthropic strategy through management of the Annual Fund.
. Manage Elmhurst College Annual Fund Program including phonathon, direct mail solicitations, Day of Giving and other revenue generating activities.. Grow Annual Fund income to a sustainable $1 million.. Ensure donor acquisition and retention.. Track, monitor, and acknowledge Annual Fund donations.. Work closely with Director of Alumni Engagement to develop initiatives that support and increase alumni participation.. Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous improvement.. Supports mission, vision and values.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
. Bachelor’s degree.. One year in fundraising field.. Excellent project management skills.. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.. Experience with CRM.. Ability to work evenings and weekends.. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
. Experience with Raiser’s Edge.. A strong work ethic with an ability to work alone and within a larger team.. Ability to collaborate within and across campus departments. . Customer service focused and driven. Goal-oriented, results focused.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object.
