Summary/Objective To manage the Food Bank’s special events, promotion and peer to peer program to raise funds from corporations in support of the Food Bank’s strategic plan. Develop a comprehensive annual plan to identify, engage, solicit and steward corporate partners. Manage a portfolio of 50+ corporate donors and prospects. Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Food Banks’ special events, third-party promotions and peer to peer campaigns. Responsible for setting revenue and expense budgets for events and promotions and tracking progress against those goals.

Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position manages Development Officer, Peer to Peer and Cause Marketing and Special Events Coordinator and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of those employees.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. but occasionally weekends and evenings will be required. A minimum of 40 hours a week is required to maintain full time status.
Position LocationThis position is based out of our Geneva location.
TravelThis position may travel within our 13 county service area to meet with donors, visit our other Centers, make presentations or attend events, estimated up to 20% of time.
