Cybercriminals continue to look for new and innovative ways to infiltrate organizations. As threats continue to grow and evolve, we need to understand what our organization is up against to defend against cybersecurity threats from criminals who exploit vulnerabilities to gain access to networks, data and confidential information. As Executive Directors, Development Directors, Fundraisers, Community Engagers and Consultants this is even more critical to understand and be knowledgeable about as we are responsible for confidential donor and stakeholder data, financial transactions, and hold vulnerable positions within our orgs – ideal for targeted cyber-attacks.

We invite you to learn from Jim Osterhout, Vice President at John Drake and Associates (JDA), a trusted, practical, and well-rounded solution to IT management.

He will lead a discussion exploring the intersection of cybersecurity and organizational leadership. This session will offer a comprehensive overview of today’s most common cybersecurity threats including phishing, malware, misdirection, donation scams and more. Discover how to implement best practices, leverage security tools, and cultivate a culture of vigilance and accountability. You will gain the skills to identify potential scams and respond effectively if targeted, empowering you to lead teams and safeguard organizational integrity in the digital world.

Meet Our Speaker:
Jim Osterhout, Vice President
John Drake and Associates (JDA)

Built on the integrity of Jim's father, JDA is a family business that started as a small staffing augmentation service. Jim has been with JDA for over a decade, starting at the ground level. Through hard work, he made his way up from the help desk to the company's vice president. In 2007, a longtime client asked JDA to manage virtually all their IT needs. From that request, JDA evolved into a trusted, practical, and well-rounded solution to IT management, helping over 10,000 users. Jim stays grounded in his dad's integrity and convictions. He is proud to have been a part of a business built on those foundations and knows that's why clients stay with JDA for decades.
