This session will explore how development professionals can leverage Giving Tuesday to strengthen year-end fundraising. Through real-world examples and data, presenters will identify opportunities nonprofits have to expand their digital and online fundraising, learn how Giving Tuesday can serve as a springboard for year-end campaigns, and uncover strategies to deepen engagement with current donors to inspire broader giving.
Attendees will walk away with practical insights, tools, and tactical tips that they can immediately apply to elevate their 2025 year-end and Giving Tuesday fundraising initiatives.

Alyssa Athens, Senior Development Coordinator Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation
As the Senior Development Coordinator, Alyssa manages and advances the Pulmonary Fibrosis third-party event program, Team PFF. She also leads the PFF’s Giving Tuesday Initiatives, Workplace Giving, and Recurring Giving programs while collaborating with the Sr. Development Director on the PFF Tribute Program and the Annual Appeal mailing cycle. She has a career commitment to advancement/development/advocacy work and is excited to continue her knowledge in the field.
