    Datatelligent is hiring a Non-Profit Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. This is a highly visible, collaborative position that is responsible for generating net-new sales pipeline each quarter. The BDM will take a creative and strategic approach to outreach to potential new customers in the higher education and non-profits markets. In this role, the BDM will identify, develop, and create new business opportunities in net-new accounts and support marketing and lead generation efforts. If you are a sales or development professional who is energized by a fast-paced, growth-minded startup, apply today.

    What you’ll do

    • Work with Datatelligent leadership to produce innovative strategies to identify and acquire new customers
    • Identify and generate new business through defined sales activities such as prospecting into strategic business accounts via cold call, email, and social outreach strategies
    • Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Sales Account Managers (SAMs) and our Chief Growth Officer (CGO)
    • Be accountable for meeting sales targets
    • Be an evangelist of the Datatelligent solutions
    • Work with Partner organizations (Tableau and Snowflake) on targeted non-profit campaigns  
    • Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
    • Utilized CRM (HubSpot) to maintain leads, log activities and next steps with each prospect, both at the account level and the contact level
    • Lead the development of the Business Development processes, systems and team

    What you’ll need

    • Experience in sales, development, or account management, preferably business to business (B2B) sales
    • Desire to set sales meetings with key decision-makers at prospective companies and targeted accounts
    • Ability to build rapport and develop long-term business relationships with prospects over the course of an extended sales cycle
    • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships, particularly with directors, presidents and CEOs
    • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined, ability to take initiative and be resourceful while working both independently and as a member of a team
    • High organization skills with the ability to multi-task
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
    • Ability to work remotely (some office time may be required)

    • Salary range: $50,000 base; uncapped incentive with a target of $20,000 – total of $70,000 on target earnings
