Part-Time Grant Writer – Voice of Care

Voice of Care’s mission is to equip the local church to embrace, empower and engage people who experience disabilities and their families in their discipleship walk with Christ.

It is preferred but not required that the Grant Writer be a member of a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

Additional duties beyond grant research and grant writing will include maintaining a calendar of grant related deadlines and ensuring that all are met. This will include due dates for letters of inquiry, grant proposal, supportive materials, and grant reports. The Grant Writer will be responsible for acquiring all materials necessary for grant applications or grant reporting. The ability to design supportive materials for grant seeking is a plus.

The Grant Writer will report directly to the Director of Development and Communications but will be asked to communicate regularly with the Executive Staff, which also includes the Executive Director, Director of Ministry Facilitators, and Office Administrator, about potential grants, planned programming and expansion, budget details, necessary documentation, and other matters related to seeking ministry funding for this 501©3 organization that is also a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
