                  People’s Resource Center - Job Posting Community Engagement Coordinator PRC is hiring a Community Engagement Coordinator to be responsible for planning, organizing, promoting, and facilitation engagement of funders and partners with respect to digital, website, online and in-person communications. The Community Engagement Coordinator is part of the Advancement team and is supervised by the Vice President of Advancement. This role will connect community members, donors, and other stakeholders to increase awareness and support for PRC’s mission. This position is full-time, 40 hours/week and will have an office at PRC’s Wheaton location.  Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel to local community sites is required.     Ensure consistency in communication across all channels, including but not limited to digital, website, online, and face-to-face, ensuring consistent connection with PRC values and brandEnsure all marketing templates reflect current brand management requirements including but not limited to letterhead, email signatures, logos, etc.Coordinate advancement vendor relationships related but not limited to brochures, event invitations, graphic design and other marketing materialsManage PRC’s website, ensuring all content updates are made in a timely mannerCreate and update program templates related to services, etc., ensuring user-friendly tools that can be utilized by all staffCoordinate PRC’s Volunteer Ambassador Program to secure speaking engagements and social media outreach that support PRC’s community outreach strategy which includes, but is not limited to selecting, supporting, training, and scheduling volunteersIn collaboration with program staff, assist with coordination of food, clothing, and personal care drives, including pick up of items as assigned, utilizing a PRC vehicleLead tours for all PRC sites as neededAssist with planning and implementation of community events benefiting PRC and PRC-led fundraising eventsAct as the onsite ambassador for any donors bringing goods or financial donations, provide tours and program information as assignedRepresent and promote PRC at designated Chambers of Commerce, civic clubs, and other community relations groups and events as assignedCreate and post social media content, including but not limited to videos, posts, photos, etc.Other duties as assignedEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field preferredTwo (2) years of experience in content creation, brand management, or other communications roleTwo (2) years of experience with social media marketing, including content creation REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
